The pixel ID is a public value: it also feeds OpenAI's browser snippet. The API key, however, stays secret.
Steps
- In OpenAI Ads Manager, open the conversion setup screen and note the pixel ID and the Conversions API key.
- Paste both values into the ChatGPT Ads section of your site page, then Save destinations.
Verify
After saving, the console automatically tests the credentials, and the Delivered rate in Monitoring confirms delivery. Official reference: developers.openai.com/ads/conversions-api.
